if there is something i like better than plain ol’ dance music, it is ‘intelligent dance music’. i do like this though.

“Intelligent dance music” would probably be a good term to describe the sound of S O H N, a new project which exists inbetween Vienna and London. In fact his sound is quite smooth and nothing like the current popular genres in the UK (which most London-producers are being unfluenced by right now), but there is a certain dance-appeal to it anyhow. I’ve got no clue whatever’s hot in Austra right now, but if it sounds anything like this I should probably keep an eye on it.
